I mentioned in a previous blog that I love writing poems which is just one of my hobbies. In today’s blog, I will write about my hobbies and why they are essential for you. According to Wikipedia<\/a>, A hobby is an activity or interest, or pastime that is undertaken for pleasure or relaxation, done during one’s own leisure time, this definition pretty much gives you the information that will make you understand the importance of hobbies, but it will be better if I’ll explain it to you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\ud83d\udcccMy Story<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

When I was 13 years old, I was not the person you all recognize me as now. It was that stage of my life where I used to be very depressed, even though I was living with my parents and I had my school friends. Though I would always find myself all alone, I was a nerdy shy guy who doesn’t even know how to talk to girls. I was just an average guy like most of you and I hated every second of it. So, at that time I used to write diaries, make some paintings, and stuff these are the only time I felt accepted and loved by myself besides this I hated myself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I knew deep down that I want to change but I was just a kid back then to realize that, so I used to spend most of my time doing all those things. Once I tried glass painting in 7th standard and it came out pretty good. Since my childhood I was good at painting and sketching, a self-taught artist you can say but my parents never supported me when wanted to join art classes, so I discovered an alternative online, YouTube. In 2019 I got into abstract painting and I loved it. Discovering canvas painting, playing with oil and different mediums, and brushes were so fun, probably my best decision, learned about oil painting from a youtube channel named Lana Denya<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My Hobbies <\/h4>\n\n\n\n

So, what are my hobbies, well right now my hobbies are painting and sketching, reading self-improvement books, poetry, cooking, and learning new things recently I’ve started learning Arabic and Spanish, and that’s it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I believe cooking is a skill that every man should master, it has a lot of benefits. Cooking can be a really fun and social activity whether you’re cooking with friends or family is appreciable. It can also give a sense of tranquility and is also a way to learn about the cuisines of different cultures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From my experience, I would say whenever you will feel low, alone, empty and you will have no one to call or turn to and when it seems like the whole world is crushing you, your hobbies will hold you. Mark my words, your hobbies are your greatest friend and supporter. Hobbies connect you with yourself and it is enchanting to feel. I said all the things from my experience, as they say, “experience speaks better than knowledge” and on this note, I will end this blog.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
